Storiesta

I should have been practicing my English skills right now, but since I'm too lazy to move my ass to get those thick TOEFL books, let's just practice writing here..^^ ohoho..Nothing so special has happened recently, so maybe what I'm writing is not that interesting for you..

Yesterday, I've just finished playing Crisis Core : Final Fantasy VII.. I watched the ending twice. I could say that I ALMOST cried watching that sad-tragic-but-somehow-happy(?) ending.. I've known before I played that it would not another live-happily-ever-after ending, but you know, it is Square Enix, guys.. haha they always know how to make those scenes into one perfect package.

Okay, talking about stories. Sometimes (or maybe always), when I finish reading a novel, atching a movie, playing a game, or anything that has a good storyline, I always recall the story over and over again, even I can't sleep so tight in the night haha.. For me, one of the most interesting aspect in a story is "WHY and HOW someone becomes an antagonist?" Do you get what I mean? Everyone in this world is born with no labels such protagonist or antagonist, isn't it? There must be a process of growing or understanding or emotional pressure or bad trauma or whatever it is. And mostly, if you see it in a different point of view, you can't judge that he/she is an evil. ecause whoever they are, they must have strong motives why they do such harmful things. For example in a movie (I forgot what the title is) which tells a story about a father who hijacks a hospital and keeps everyone there as hostage in order to have his dying son cured. In one view, he is the criminal. In the contrary, he is just a father who wants the best for his son's life, even it means he must be imprisoned for the rest of his life.. Unfortunately, not all antagonists in a story have strong and acceptable motives, especially in Indonesian Sinetron.

Okay, more talking about stories. Once, I had a simple thought, that to live is to write a story, like a novel... But thinking after thinking, I realize that I was WRONG! If you read a novel, and finish it, you can re-read it again. or if you have some favorite moments, you can just find the pages you look for, and read it over and over again until you memorize them word by word. If you don't like the ending, then re-read it and just don't finish it! But in real life? You can't redo what you have done.. You can't stay in one place, forever.. Well, whatever happens (for good or bad), your life goes on as the way it is meant to be..

Okay, more and more talking about stories. I have writen some of them myself, but one thing for sure, none of them is finished. I even doubt one of them will be finished someday. Looks like they will remain forgotten-yet-unforgotten.. haha. I can't be a full-time writer, certainly.
